Becoming an eco friendly family is easier than you may think. No matter if you are an adult or child you can initiate this action. More families than ever are looking into this and you should be doing the same.
There are a few things that may be holding back your family including not knowing how to get started. Fortunately, there are many small things you can do in order to become an Eco friendly family. Some of them include:
1. Recycle. How easy is this? Even if you do not have curb side pickup for your recyclables you can still do this. All you have to do is find a recycling center in your area, and take your trash to them once a month or so.
2. Save energy in your home. This can be done by upgrading to energy efficient appliances, swapping out old light bulbs for more efficient ones, etc. Every lit bit that you do to save energy will help.
3. Get everybody involved. It is a shame that so many parents are eco friendly, but they do not take the time to instill this value in their children. Instead of leaving your children out, once they are old enough to understand the value of being eco friendly you should include them. In turn, they will be more prone to continue this way of living as they get older.
As you can see, you can become an eco friendly family if you take the right steps. The three above are a good place to start.
